Program Overview
The Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme offered through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode is designed in accordance with the provisions of the UGC (Open and Distance Learning Programmes and Programmes) Regulations. The programme provides an opportunity to learners to pursue higher education in the field of humanities and social sciences through a flexible and learner-centric mode. The programme offers a combination of three subjects from English, Hindi, History, Philosophy, Economics, and Geography, enabling learners to acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and a broad academic foundation. The curriculum is structured to develop critical thinking, analytical ability, communication skills, and socio-cultural understanding. The programme is delivered through Self Learning Materials (SLMs), multimedia resources, and academic counselling support as per UGC norms to ensure quality learning. It prepares learners for higher education as well as employment opportunities in areas such as education, public administration, social services, media, and other related fields.

Eligibility Criteria
